Johnson-Cochran
On June 28, 2008, at 3:30 in the afternoon, Ms. Terri Ann Johnson and Mr. Jeffrey Shawn Cochran were united in marriage at the Eastridge Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, Neb. The Reverend James Crelin officiated. Daughter of the late Vicki Dale, the bride was escorted down the aisle and given in marriage by her father, Robert Johnson. Maid of honor was Lindsey Legg. The bridesmaids were Jennifer Johnson (niece of the bride), Janelle Williamson, Tracy Vitoch (sister of the bride) and Lisa Cochran (sister of the groom).
Terry Pillsworth served as best man. The groomsmen were Scott Gomell, Brandon Johnson (nephew of the bride), Derek Beattie and Taylor Rutland of Herndon. Skylar Dowdy (niece of the groom) was the flower girl and Jacobi Evans (son of the bride) was the ringbearer. Candlelighters were Zack Johnson (son of the bride) and Justin Dowdy (nephew of the groom). Ushers were Chris and Mike Fantroy.
A dinner reception was held immediately following the ceremony at The Knolls Country Club in Lincoln, Neb. An east coast dinner was held in New Jersey in July for the friends and relatives that were unable to travel to the wedding.
Since graduating from Beatrice High School, the bride has worked as a medical aide in Lincoln. The groom graduated from Oakton High School in 1992 and is currently the senior network engineer for the Nebraska Book Company of Lincoln.
The groom's parents are Del Cochran of Verdon, Neb., and Chris Cochran of Herndon. Following a honeymoon cruise of the Caribbean, the newlyweds continue to live in Lincoln, Neb.
 
Fair-Lamberte
Erin Rebecca Fair and Troy Jonathan Lamberte were married Aug. 16, 2008, in the Yakima Arboretum's Japanese Garden in Yakima, Wash., the bride's hometown. A reception followed.

The bride is the daughter of Joan Fair of Yakima, Wash., and the late James Fair. The groom is the son of Dorothy Lamberte of Sunnyside, Wash., and Gerry Lamberte of Ontario, Canada.
Robert Valdez was best man. Other members of the wedding party included Christine Tew, Crystal Fair, Amber Fair, Mary Tew, Heidi Fair, Joy Fair, Bethany Cooper, Sage Cooper, Terry Lamberte, Travis Lamberte, Carter Fair, James Tew, Jared Fair, Joseph Fair and Michael Fair.
The bride graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima, Wash., and earned her bachelor's degree in English (creative writing) with a minor in communication from Brigham Young University in Idaho. She is an orthodontist assistant in Reston.
The groom graduated from Sunnyside High School in Sunnyside, Wash., and earned his bachelor's degrees in computer science and applied and computational mathematical science, as well as in general studies (digital art and film) from the University of Washington. He is a software engineer in Reston.
Following a seven-day cruise to Alaska, the couple is at home in Reston.
 
Geyer-Bew
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Geyer of Herndon announce the engagement of their daughter Lauren Brittany to Jeffrey Scott Bew, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Bew of Mechanicsville, Va. The bride-to-be is also the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hammond Geyer, also of Herndon, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Prickett of Georgia. The future groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bew and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Upshaw.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Herndon High School and a 2006 graduate of Radford University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree. She is currently a full-time student at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she will receive a master's degree in teaching in spring 2010. She is employed by Henrico County schools as a tutor and is a part-time dance instructor.
The future groom is a 2001 graduate of Atlee High School in Mechanicsville, Va. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in 2005 from Radford University. He is employed by Hankins and Anderson Consulting Engineers. The couple is planning a June 6, 2009, wedding.
 
Freed-Bolton
Samantha Elena Freed and Noah Benjamin Bolton were married, surrounded by family and friends, in Baltimore, Md., on Dec. 21, 2008. Joshua Bolton, the groom's brother and a student at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Gloria Freed of Columbia, Md., and the late Jerome Freed. She is also the granddaughter of the late Molly and Samuel Freed, and Helen and Alexander Huditean. The groom is the son of Janet and Vade Bolton of Reston, and the grandson of Frances and Seymour Berg of Plainview, N.Y., and the late Juanita and Vade Bolton Sr.
The bride earned her undergraduate degree in medical ethics from Tulane University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law in Baltimore. She is an associate at the law firm of Snook and Haughey in Charlottesville, Va., where the couple currently reside with their dog, Steve.
The groom's undergraduate degree in industrial design was earned at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y. He is a 2009 candidate for the master's in architecture at the University of Virginia where he is a Kenan Fellow.
 
Lauderdale-Oris
John and Leslie Lauderdale of Herndon announce the engagement of their daughter Megan Laura to Damien Michael Oris, son of Joseph and Kathleen Oris of Reston.

The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Herndon High School. She earned her undergraduate degree from Longwood University and her master's degree in education from Mary Washington University. She is employed as a fifth-grade teacher at Ashland Elementary School in Prince William County.
The future groom graduated from South Lakes High School in 2000. He is completing work on his degree in business at the University of Phoenix. He is employed as a fiscal specialist at the U.S. Geological Survey in Reston. A fall 2009 wedding is planned at Floris United Methodist Church in Herndon.
