Submitting an Engagement, Wedding or Anniversary
The Observer publishes engagement, wedding and anniversary announcements in all its editions and posts them on this Web site. To submit your information, send an e-mail to news@observernews.com with all the details you would like to see published.

Please provide a daytime telephone number so that we may contact you directly if we need to.

You may submit photographs with your announcements electronically, through the mail, or by dropping them off at The Observer office in Herndon.

To send a picture electronically, attach a JPEG file of the highest resolution you can make to your e-mail. If there is a problem with the photograph, we will contact you before publication.

Color photographs may be dropped off at The Observer office or mailed to 1043 Sterling Road, Suite 104, Herndon, Va. 20170. You may drop off your information anytime using the mail slot in the front door.

Publication Policy
The Observer will not publish any announcements that are more than 90 days after the event. Announcements will be edited for clarity, grammar and style. Photographs will be available to be picked up at The Observer office.
