The Herndon police reported the following incidents through Nov. 16:
BRUIN DISTRICT
• It was reported that a person was assaulted by an acquaintance at 2:10 a.m. Nov. 11 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.
• A vehicle was reported broken into and a GPS unit was stolen at 3:28 a.m. Nov. 10 in the 400 block of Florida Avenue.
• A vehicle was reported broken into and a GPS unit was stolen between 12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Nov. 10 in the 12900 block of Worldgate Drive.
• A vehicle was reported broken into and the stereo equipment was stolen between 6 p.m. Nov. 7 and 7 p.m. Nov. 8 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.
• A laptop was reported stolen from a residence between midnight and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 16 in the 400 block of Arkansas Avenue.
• A 45-year-old man with no fixed address was arrested for drunk in public at 1:32 p.m. Nov. 14 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.
• It was reported that a person had received harassing phone calls from an acquaintance at 6:51 a.m. Nov. 11 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• A noise complaint was reported at 5:56 p.m. Nov. 11 in the 2200 block of Westcourt Lane.
 
GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• Graffiti was reported found in the area at 10:34 a.m. Nov. 10 in the 1400 block of Herndon Parkway.
• Trespassing was reported at 10:23 p.m. Nov. 10 in the 1000 block of Crestview Drive.
• A noise complaint was reported at 11:59 p.m. Nov. 13 in the 1100 block of Lisa Court.
• A noise complaint was reported at 12:21 a.m. Nov. 16 in the 1200 block of Bond Street.
 
HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• It was reported that a person stole two canaries from a business at 12:15 p.m. Nov. 13 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• It was reported that a personŐs credit card was stolen at 4:40 p.m. Nov. 13 in the 500 block of Aspen Drive.
• It was reported that business checks were being stolen and cashed at 4:56 p.m. Nov. 14 in the 500 block of Elden Street.
• A 23-year-old Herndon man was arrested for possession with intent to distribute marijuana at 12:11 a.m. Nov. 12 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• A locked cabinet was reported damaged at a business at 4:52 p.m. Nov. 11 in the 300 block of Elden Street.
 
RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• A vehicle was reported stolen on Nov. 11 from the 900 block of Branch Drive and the vehicle was recovered later in the day in Leesburg.
 
CENTER DISTRICT
• A 23-year-old Herndon man was arrested for assault at 11:05 p.m. Nov. 15 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• It was reported that a person attempted to steal food from a business at 3:42 p.m. Nov. 10 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• A 44-year-old Herndon man was arrested for petit larceny at 10:22 p.m. Nov. 10 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• It was reported that a person attempted to shoplift from a business at 7:56 p.m. Nov. 13 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• It was reported that a person attempted to steal an food from a business at 1:02 p.m. Nov. 15 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• Graffiti was reported found in the restroom of a business at 9:27 p.m. Nov. 11 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• A 41-year-old Herndon man was arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
 
DUI's and Other Incidents
• A 22-year-old Herndon man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 11:26 p.m. Nov. 12 in the 700 block of Elden Street.
• A 40-year-old Herndon man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 10:23 p.m. Nov. 15 in the 300 block of Elden Street.
• A 25-year-old woman was arrested on a grand larceny warrant from Fairfax County at 9:12 a.m. Nov. 10.
• A 34-year-old Herndon woman was served with a warrant from Fairfax County for violating a court order at 11:44 p.m. Nov. 11.
• A 55-year-old Herndon man was served with a warrant from Prince William County at 10:34 a.m. Nov. 12.
